Whilst training in Los Angeles this year I was very fortunate to have met Guro John Spezzano.
His teaching skill is superb, displaying 100% teaching qualities at all times. John has the natural ability of simplifying the most complex of drills to enable the student to grasp it.
His own skill level in martial arts is inspirational and combined with his teaching, makes him a very popular instructor at the Inosanto Academy. John's personality of friendliness, patience, relaxed and easy going character makes you want to keep going back for more!!

- Apprentice instructor in Jun Fan/JKD, Filipino martial arts and Silat under Guro Dan.
- Apprentice instructor in Wing Chun under Sifu Francis Fong.
- John is a 3rd year Senior Associate Instructor in Jun Fan / JKD, 3rd year Senior Associate Instructor in Kali and a 2nd year Apprentice instructor in Maphilindo Silat under Guro Dan.
- A 2nd year Apprentice instructor in Wing Chun (under Sifu Francis Fong).
- An instructor in Muay Thai in Ajarn Chai's Thai Boxing Association.
- Trained in French Savate.
- He has been a staff instructor at the Inosanto Academy since 1994 and has competed in Muay Thai, Savate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
